Denim Tiles

Inspired by the curves and angles popular in art deco prints, Tiles is a loose take on a vintage style I love, with the modern stitcher in mind.

This fabric panel is perfect for handmade projects, such as cushions and bags or combine with solids and other prints and create an original quilt or cushion cover.

Printed in Denim blue.

- printed area measures approx 47 x 29.5cm (18.5 x 11.5")

- each tile measures approx 12mm x 12mm (0.5 x 0.5")

- printed with water based inks

- heat set and fully washable at 30 degrees, iron on a warm setting on reverse of print

printed on a choice of basecloth:

- white 100% cotton which is smooth and perfect for quilts

- white 54% linen / 46% cotton blend which has the beautiful texture of medium weight linen

- natural coloured 100% linen

All three fabrics are shown in the last image, both of the linen based fabrics are perfect for hand stitching into, for embroidery, hand stitched projects and hand quilting.

Hand screen printed in my London studio. Small imperfections may be present, these will be minor and part of the beauty of buying handprinted fabrics.

Some shrinkage will occur after washing, this is a feature of natural fibres, please allow for this or prewash before using in your projects.

This midcentury inspired design is a great textural addition to your projects. Printed by hand in my studio, onto natural tactile fabrics. These panels are ideal for embellishing with stitches, using in patchwork and other craft projects.

The linen and linen / cotton blend fabrics are best for embroidering into as they have a looser weave and wonderful texture.
