Ladders was originally inspired by the repeat of text in a newspaper. After playing around with lines and structure I settled upon this design, which, by the end of the process resembled ladders in a loose form to me.
This fabric panel is perfect for handmade projects, such as cushions and bags, or combine with other fabrics and create an original quilt or cushion cover. The fabrics are beautiful to work with and lend themselves well to embroidery and hand quilting.

printed on a choice of basecloth: - white 100% cotton which is smooth and perfect for quilts - white 54% linen / 46% cotton blend which has the beautiful texture of medium weight linen - natural coloured 100% linen
Hand screen printed in my London studio. Small imperfections may be present, these will be minor and part of the beauty of buying handprinted fabrics.
Some shrinkage will occur after washing, this is a feature of natural fibres, please allow for this or prewash before using in your projects.
