'Mesh' design hand screen printed onto fabric. For a simple embroidery project add some colour by filling in the squares with satin stitch, a mindful project to soothe the soul.
This fabric panel is perfect for handmade items, such as cushions and bags or combine with other fabrics and create an original quilt, perfect for so many sewing projects.
I've used embroidery thread and 'coloured in' the squares and rectangles on the cotton fabric which you can see in the embroidery hoop, in this example I've stitched onto the cloud grey printed fabric.
Printed in sage green. Mesh is made up of lots of tiny squares and rectangles, all drawn by hand before being repeated to create this design.

- printed area measures approx 43.5 x 34cm (17 x 13.5") - printed with water based inks - heat set and fully washable at 30 degrees, iron on a warm setting on reverse of print
printed on a choice of basecloth: - white 100% cotton which is smooth and perfect for quilts - white 54% linen / 46% cotton blend which has the beautiful texture of medium weight linen - natural coloured 100% linen All three fabrics are shown in the last image, both of the linen based fabrics are perfect for hand stitching into, for embroidery, hand stitched projects and hand quilting.
Small imperfections may be present, these will be minor and part of the beauty of buying handprinted fabrics.
Some shrinkage will occur after washing, this is a feature of natural fibres, please allow for this or prewash before using in your projects.
